Flipgrid is all about student voice and giving students an opportunity to share their perspectives about a book they've just read is a great way for them to share that voice. I love the idea of students sharing their opinions with their peers. Book reviews make sense and allow students to practice life-ready skills that they will need beyond the walls of the classroom. FlipgridAR allows you to take the videos that your students record and provide QR codes that be scanned to access those videos. Here's how you can make it happen... 1. First, find clear adhesive pockets to use in your books. Find the pockets HERE. 2. Create a grid for your students to use as they post their reviews. 3. Share the link with your students and ask them to share a review each time they finish reading a book. 4. As they post their videos, print the Response QR Codes and slide them into the clear adhesive pockets in the front of the book for other students to access if they are thinking about the reading the book. Whether you create this grid for your classroom library or campus library, giving students an opportunity to share their voice is always a good idea. Give it a try and feel free to share how it goes below!
